Heat Hero recommends that you fit a filter on the central heating when the system is power flushed on installation. To have a filter installed without a power flush is still a good idea as it can extend the life of a boiler and central heating components but a filter is no substitute for a power flush.

Heat Hero recommends you have your appliances checked once a year to stay in a safe operating state. In order to help you stay safe Heat Hero provides you with an annual service at only £95 which includes the following services -

Powerflush

A power flush is a cleaning procedure carried out by a professional that is trained and experienced. Power flushing your central heating system means cleaning the central heating water, pipes, pump, radiators and the boiler. We connect a power flush machine and circulate around the system at a high rate using a combination of chemicals and magnets to aid the cleaning process. The system will then be inhibited to prevent the re-forming of sludge in the central heating system.

Benefits of a power flush

Increased efficiency:
The more sludge that gets removed, the more of an improvement in efficiency you will have in the system.

System is more reliable:
Clean systems break down less, as no sludge means no blockages, and less wear and tear on the parts that make up the system.

Increased system life:
Boilers, pumps, radiator valves and radiators last much longer if your system is clean and has the right level of inhibitor to prevent corrosion.

You will save money on not having break downs and increased efficiency in your system
